Architects & Builders Favorite TV Shows & Podcasts

At the end of the day, everyone loves a good HGTV show. Yes, we all love Chip and Jo (did I binge watch them? maybe...) but here are some great ideas to feed the Architect & Builders' mind.

For starters, check out Grand Designs on Netflix.

This is a British TV series of modern homes. This series depicts the reality of what goes into home projects, the realistic timelines, the headaches, budget explosions, and every episode has a different story.

Host Kevin McCloud presents people who take self-building houses to a new level, following every step of their ambitious plans from beginning to end.

You won't want to stop watching.

Another great show is Abstract, The Art of Design.

This documentary includes all different facets of design. Some episodes include illustrators, architecture, stage, photography, graphic, interior, and automotive designers.

You will learn something new. Maybe. Unless you know everything already.
